A Construction Manager with a ‘Cleere’ Vision

It takes experience, personality and integrity, which comes from the people, and perhaps no one at Wrightland personifies these traits better than Construction Manager, Fintan Cleere.

Fintan joined the Wrightland team in 2012, moving from his native County Kilkenny, Ireland, bringing with him his wife, son and stepdaughter, along with 25 years of construction experience. Since then, Fintan has played a lead role in the construction of homes in our Country Gardens, McLea Park and Sunset Landing developments.

The son of a retired carpenter, Fintan grew up surrounded by expert craftsmen and builders, so it was no surprise when he followed in his father’s footsteps and began working on residential construction projects in Ireland. Throughout, his appreciation of a ‘job well done’ and understanding of the importance of quality in all aspects of a build went with him.

Today, Fintan is a key member of the Wrightland team, admired for his outstanding work ethic, uncompromising standards, and affable personality. “I don’t believe in cutting corners,” says Fintan. “I couldn’t look a homeowner in the face and tell them their home is perfect if I didn’t believe that to be true. At Wrightland, we bring them through the whole process of the build. They get to see the home even before it is Gyprocked or insulated; before the electrician or plumber has done his work. This allows for a great level of personalization. If they want to move a wall or a doorway, at this stage it’s still possible, and we do accommodate these kinds of requests.”
